Priority Objectives
Ensure that health and social service workers are able to communicate with English- speaking clients (access). Encourage the development of competencies in order to optimize work planning: improve worker mobility so as to make services and care more accessible to the people in the areas covered by our centres: CSSS CG, Centre Jeunesse Gaspésie-Les Îles, CSSS de la Baie-des-Chaleurs and CSSS du Rocher-Percé.

Description of Planned Activities
Needs analysis; placement testing; individualized learning; training evaluation; training certification; learning support outside of course times; same for all four centres .
Maintenance of acquired skills and development activities:
Lunchtime conversation between co-workers; brochures, documents and other resource material to support and promote learning retention and access to services in English; working with area community organizations and partners towards access to services in English.
