PATRICK OUTHWAITE is a PhD candidate in English Literature at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, and has undertaken work placements at the Wellcome and Osler libraries. His Ph.D addresses the intersection of medical and religious controversy in England and Central Europe, with a focus on the exchange of information and texts between Bohemia and England in the late medieval period. He has published articles on medieval medicine and book history in the Journal of the Early Book Society and the Journal of English and Germanic Philology.
