MARTINE GAUTHIER is the Executive Director of Student Services at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ where she oversees 11 integrated services that focus on supporting student development and holistic wellbeing. Prior to McGill, Martine served as the Director of Student Services at Saskatchewan Polytechnic where she led the transformation of student services through the institution’s evolution from a technical college to a degree granting institute. Her career as a senior administrator also includes eight years as a dean and academic dean at both the community college and CEGEP levels, including a number of years at an Indigenous college in Northern British Columbia. Due to her experiences, Martine has a broad understanding of the student experience across the Canadian post-secondary landscape. Martine’s educational background is from the University of Florida, progressing from a bachelor’s degree in communications to a master’s in anthropology, and most recently, doctoral studies in sociology (ABD).
