When howler monkeys swing from branch to branch in the canopy of Costa Rica鈥檚 forests, they sometimes encounter a deadly hazard: power lines. An app developed by McGill and Associate Professor Juan Camilo Serpa, who spearheads the Costa Rica Experiential Learning Course and Study Trip, is helping identify the hot spots where electrocutions occur.
