Our TeleStudios were partially funded by the Sustainability Projects Fund. Our goal is to contribute to McGill’s sustainability efforts by reducing C02 emissions and travel costs.  The TeleStudios allow the McGill community to:

  • Pre-record presentations for playback at a later event
  • Conduct media interviews remotely
  • Virtually present at conferences

Our Studios

Studio 1

Studio 1 is 3.5m x 5.5m (18’x12’) with natural light and a round table.  We typically use this studio for podcast recording with up to 4 participants and interviews where we want to create a casual setting.

Studio 2

Studio 2 is 8m x 9m (27’x28’).  It is equipped with studio lighting, professional camera and sound equipment, teleprompter and green screen. A variety of backdrops are available.  Multiple cameras allow detail shots for demonstrations and to make editing long interviews easier.  The studio can also be used for live streaming and professional presentations on Zoom.
