Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education Programs
McGill Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education's programs focus on the key components of sports and exercise sciences as well asÌýphysical activity and health across the lifespan.
At the undergraduate level, students have the opportunity to pursue their Bachelor of Education in Physical Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) (B.Sc.). The B.Sc. (Kinesiology) program offers an honours stream (B.Sc. Kinesiology Honours) for advanced students with a keen interest in research who are considering graduate studies, the opportunity to pursue more advanced coursework resulting in a research project under the direct supervision of a department academic, in their final year of study.
The Department's graduate studies are thesis programs at the Master's and Doctoral levels, with concentrations in the following research areas:
