Faculty of Education classes, workspaces, and academic activities are generally (though not exclusively) housed in theÌý,Ìý,Ìý, and . In addition to the many helpful resources available throughout , the Faculty of Education offers various learning spaces and technological equipment to benefit students and staff.ÌýMembers of the Education Community have access to meeting spaces, study spaces, computer labs, software, audiovisual visual equipment, and unlimited support from McGill IT professionals.

Our Facilities

Just as our scholarly fields within Education are continuously evolving, so are our learning spaces. Some of the highlights of the Faculty include the Jack Cram Auditorium, Tassone Teaching Lab, Education Curriculum Resources Centre, Multi-Literacies and Creative Arts Labs, Science Education Lab, Psychoeducational and Counselling Clinic, Mock Courtroom,Ìý and Student Learning Commons. With the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education housed at the Currie Gymnasium, full athletics facilities (e.g. swimming pools, ice rink, football/soccer turf, weight room, squash and racquetball courts, field house, etc.) are also available for use.Ìý

Along with the Education Computer Lab (with both Mac and PC units), students and staff have access to updated technological equipment through our Audiovisual Equipment Loan Service, including laptops, 3D printer, digital cameras, tripods, microphones, digital audio recorders, projectors, private virtual meeting booth, and more.

The Office of Internships and Student Affairs (ISA) governs the posting of hard-copy flyers within the Education Building. The Kinesiology and Physical Education Department's administrative office governs the posting of hard-copy flyers within the KPE sector of the Currie Gymnasium. For flyer approval and circulation on the Faculty's bulletin boards, please bring your printed materials to EDUC-243 (Education Building) or CURRIE-216 (KPE sector of Currie Gym).
