Dr. Shaheen Shariff, DISE, Dr. Christopher Dietzel, and Safia Amiry are working on an edited collection about the social impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of this collection is to identify and analyze ongoing and emerging pandemic-related challenges and develop realistic guidelines and suggestions for a post-pandemic world.

The Office of Sustainability, in partnership with the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, has created an opportunity for faculty and students to enhance sustainability in the curriculum.
The Sustainability Education Fellows Program is a cross-campus initiative, supported by the Sustainability Projects Fund, that will bring together faculty and students to advance sustainability in the curriculum and pedagogy at McGill.

This past November, Distinguished James McGill Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies,听Claudia Mitchell,听was awarded the 2022 Jos茅 Vasconcelos World Award of Education. Dr. Mitchell was present for the 37th World Cultural Council (WCC) Award to receive this honour at听, Portugal, and to give her acceptance speech.听

Friday, June 3, 2022 鈥� 香蕉视频 lowered its flag today to honour the memory of Hannah Wallace. Hannah, a U3 student in the Bachelor of Education Secondary English program, passed away suddenly on May 4, 2022. She was known to have been a talented teacher, writer, and gentle soul.

On Friday May 13, 2022, Applied Theatre students from The Faculty of Education and Nursing put on a show entitled "Explain Quebec; Quebec Explain!" for the public, outside of the Redpath Museum, led by their Professor, Dr. Mindy R. Carter.
Exploring topics such as discrimination and systemic racism, the gathered audience had the opportunity to dialogue about these issues and to then consider, through theatre, possibly pathways for change.
