Harry Shankman Scholarships
Established in 2000 through a bequest from the late Annette Shankman Rieder in honour of her brother Harry Shankman, M.D. The fund provides stipend support for deserving medical students in the M.D./Ph.D. program.

Ram Ratan Sharma Award in Neurology and Neurosurgery
Endowed in 2023 by the Samit & Reshma Sharma Foundation in loving memory of their father Mr. Ram Ratan Sharma, who at the age of 36 years did not recover from a neurosurgery on 30 November 1982. It is hoped that the award will enhance societal knowledge and practices in the advancement of Brain Science.
| Eligibility | Awarded annually to one graduate student on the basis of outstanding academic achievement and research excellence by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Preference will be given to students conducting research on epilepsy, Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia and/or other neurodegenerative disorders. To receive the award the student must consent to their name being included in written or online communications of the Samit & Reshma Sharma Foundation. |
