Benny and Renee Cohen Masters Leadership Award

Established in 2019 by Benny Cohen to support an outstanding student entering the Masters of Management in Analytics (MMA) Program or the Masters of Management in Retail (MMR) Program in the Desautels Faculty of Management. Established in the spirit of highlighting the importance of experiential learning in the Desautels Faculty of Management and to endorse the need for student learning to go beyond the classroom.

Eligibility Awarded by the Master's Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of merit and demonstrated leadership skills.

Chad Williams Entrepreneurial Grit Award

Established in 2021 by Chad Williams, BEng 1989, MBA 1993, to encourage students enrolled in the Desautels Faculty of Management and at the Dobson Center to be creative and entrepreneurial.

Eligibility The award will be for an undergraduate or graduate student who has demonstrated entrepreneurial talent and initiative, and is involved in an entrepreneurial venture. Students apply through the Dobson Centre.

Dobson Cup Grit Prize

Established in 2014 by Samer Bekai‐Saab, BEng 1993, MBA 1996, to encourage students to pursue entrepreneurial interests. Awarded to (a) team(s) composed of students who have participated in the final round of the McGill Dobson Cup Start‐Up Competition or similar Dobson Centre competition with a preference to a team of students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication towards establishing their business venture.

Eligibility Awarded by the Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Desautels Faculty of Management at 㽶Ƶ.
Value $5,000, which can be given to one team or split between two or more deserving teams

Ferring Fellowships in Health Leadership

Established in 2016 by Ferring Pharmaceuticals for outstanding graduate students entering the International Masters for Health Leadership Program at the Desautels Faculty of Management who seek to enact transformative change to how health care is delivered in their communities.

Manulife Fellowship for the Promotion of Health

Singapore Friends Master’s Program Leadership Award

Established in 2018 by Singapore McGill alumni, to support two outstanding students entering or enrolled in a Master’s program in the Desautels Faculty of Management.

Eligibility Awarded by the Master’s Program Office of the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of merit and demonstrated leadership skills, to students from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia or China. Preference will be given to students from Singapore.
Value Value: $25,000 per year for two years each for MBA recipients; $25,000 each for one year for other Master’s recipients.

Established in 2021 by friends and former students, in honour of Professor Sujata Madan.

The Rio Tinto-Richard Evans Graduate Fellowships

Established in 2009 by Rio Tinto Limited in honour of Richard Evans, formerly President of Rio Tinto Alcan Inc.

Eligibility Awarded to outstanding Master's and Doctoral students in the Faculty of Engineering and in the Desautels Faculty of Management. The fellowships are open to all Master’s students studying in any engineering program or management degree program that may be applicable to the mining and metals industry and to Ph.D. students pursuing studies directly related to mining and metallurgy, including industrial operations, environmental and mechanical engineering, materials sciences, operations and technology management, and sustainable development.
Value Varies. No individual Fellowship should exceed CAD$20,000.

Webb-Wong Family Masters Fellowship

Established in 2015 by William R. Webb, MBA 1993 and Agnes Wong, MDCM 1994, to support outstanding students entering or enrolled ina MastersProgram in the Desautels Faculty of Management at 㽶Ƶ.

Eligibility Awarded by the Desautels Faculty of Management on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated community involvement. Preference will be given to students interested in improving the healthcare system.
