Congratulations to Hariata Tai Rakena, one of the successful recipients of the Teionkwaienawa:kon Masters Scholarships, which is awarded by the Quebec Indigenous Mentorship Network (Teionkwaienawa:kon). The network is dedicated to the support and mentorship of Indigenous students engaged with research related to Indigenous health.
Hariata's Master's Research Project: Exploring an Onkweho'n:we approach to physical activity health resource development with Kahnawakehró:non.
The purpose of this research project was to explore the culturally meaningful components involved with an Onkweho'n:we approach to health resource development. In exploration of this process, the study also aimed to create a meaningful physical activity health resource in co-design with Kahnawakehró:non, the Kanien’kehá:ka community of Kahnawà:ke.
