Biography: 

Maryam Tabrizian is a Full Professor and CRC-T1 Holder in Nanomedicine Regenerative and Medicine in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and has received many awards during her career including FRSQ-Chercheure nationale, Guggenheim, Biomaterials Science & Engineering, Royal Society of Canada, Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and Canadian Academy of Engineering Fellowships for her contribution to the design of advanced biomaterials and biointerfaces for their application in nanomedicine, regenerative medicine and lab-on-a-chip devices. She is the author of more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and over 20,000 citations. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Exploration of Biomat-X and Materials, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of ACS-Applied Bio Materials.
