Target Personnel
Intake: receptionist, telephone operator, clerk. Social Services: psychosocial workers, social workers, psychologists. Health: nurses.
Priority Objectives
Improvement objectives:
- Support the provision of quality services for the English-speaking clientele;
- Encourage verbal communication in English;
- Equip personnel for human relations activities;
- Enable the discovery of Anglophone culture.
Performance indicators:
- Number of persons trained in English language and culture.

Description of Planned Activities
Placement testing, customized teaching for groups (immersion, face-to-face), training evaluation, learning support outside of course times. The MCDC will decide on the skills development activities of the cultural component of this pilot project.
