Mathew Kwan, a 2020 graduate of the McGill Master of Management in Finance (MMF) program, was recently awarded the Peter Christoffersen Award in recognition of his outstanding CGPA and contribution to Desautels Capital Management (DCM)鈥擟anada鈥檚 first university-owned, student-run, licensed and regulated investment firm designed to give McGill students invaluable experience in the industry.
McGill MMF secures top spot in Canada in QS World University Rankings
The McGill Master of Management in Finance (MMF) has been named the top program in Canada and secured a top-20 spot in the QS Masters in Finance Rankings 2021.
Two McGill finance students receive CFA scholarship
Investment leader CFA Montr茅al has awarded two scholarships to Desautels students Rakan Lamy (BCom鈥�20) and Xinyan Wang (MMF鈥�20) for their high academic achievement and engagement in the investment community.
The scholarship, awarded to a total of six students based in Montreal, is given to finance students who have their sights set on becoming CFA charterholders.
Masters students tackle sustainability in Desautels Cup
On January 31, the Masters Office hosted the annual Desautels Cup. The event brought together nine teams from the MBA, Master of Management in Analytics and Master of Management in Finance programs and welcomed back MBA and Executive MBA alumni as distinguished judges.

Recapping the Inaugural MMF New York Trip
In November 2018, students enrolled in the Masters of Management in Finance (MMF) program travelled to New York City to witness firsthand how today鈥檚 financial sector operates in a booming metropolis.

MMF students celebrate milestone
The evening of May 1 was a special one for the second cohort of MMF students who celebrated the completion of their coursework and upcoming convocation.
The students marked their achievements at Hotel Nelligan in the company of professors, staff, and alumni who each contributed to the program throughout the year.
