Mr. James McMullan gave a guest lecture to the Honours in Investment Management (HIM) students.
He gave an overview of the credit investment process at CDPQ, a firm with over $286 billion under management. He also discussed the investment lifecycle and the importance of managing relationships beyond the exit phase of a deal.

The听Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM)听will appoint its first cohort of Integrated Management Student Fellows in the winter 2018 term. The program provides an opportunity to hone practical skills through paid experiential learning.

He broke down one of the major deals he worked on while he was with Onex Corporation, the acquisition of Husky Injection Molding Systems. He gave the students insight into the process and engaged in a back in forth discussion about the risk and opportunity with the ultimately very successful deal.
