Pitch Workshop for Start-ups

NeuroSphere hosted seasoned business communication expertÌýÌýfor an intensive pitch coaching session on November 8, 2023. As part of HBHL'sÌý, members of NeuroSphere's IGNITE start-ups Antonia Arnaert, Swajan Paul, Mohamad Matout and Oualid Benkarim spent the afternoon fine-tuning pitches for SPINORT, AVAtalk Technologies and Brainscores. These projects represent NeuroSphere's commitment to advancing health care through technology and collaborative research.ÌýCongratulationsÌýto all participants for their hard work — we look forward to witnessing their transformative impact!

Entrepreneurship Workshop Series

All the workshop's participants

Three editions of NeuroSphere's Entrepreneurship Workshop series were held in May and June 2023 and featured experts Adam Sefler and Radhika Gupta fromÌý. The workshops explored the essentials of business inception, from market considerations and fundraising to technical facets, helping participants gain valuable insights into the multifaceted world of entrepreneurship.

Neuro Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2022

NeuroSphere launched its first Neuro Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in December 2022!Ìý

This two-day event - facilitated byÌýÌý-Ìýprovided participants with the necessary knowledge and resources to learn the key foundations of an entrepreneurial journey in neuroscience.

Through lectures, presentations, group activities and hands-on exercises based on business cases, the goal of the Bootcamp was to help participants to:Ìý

  • LearnÌýabout the important steps and what it takes to become entrepreneurs
  • Be able to apply the knowledge and methodology learned to their own projects
  • Be able to articulate and pitch their ideas to key stakeholders
  • Assess their readiness to start the entrepreneurial journey

Neuro Innovation Lean Startup Program

Since 2020, NeuroSphere has been collaborating the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship to offer the Neuro Innovation Lean Startup Program. Thispaam is tailored specifically for neuroscience innovators. It is designed to take the participants from the idea stage to developing and launch a viable startup, while immersing them in the world of entrepreneurship.

Four cohorts have participated in the program since 2020.


Neuro Prosthetics 2020

NeuroSphere co-organised the . This four-day program focused on the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, artificial intelligence and medicine. It included presentations from international researchers, industry professionals and trainees, as well as roundtable discussions and Q&A sessions. Participants acquired knowledge and insight from speakers of the ecosystem.
