1. What was your area of study (Atmospheric or Oceanic sciences)? Could you describe in a line or two your research/ area of interest while you were studying at McGill?Ìý

Ocean Sciences. During my MSc, I focused on mass transport across the main fronts of the Southern Ocean by mesoscale eddies. Particularly, how accurate climate models are in representing eddy transport with respect to observations, across resolution.

2. Looking back, what do you value most about your studies at Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences at McGill?

I value my coding and presenting skills. I am grateful to have had so many opportunities to travel for conferences and internships. I value the connections I have made with other scientists in polar oceanography through SOCCOM, MPOWIR and such.

3. How are you applying your degree in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences from McGill?

I haven’t started my new position yet so ask me in a few months!

4. What advice would you give to someone considering graduate studies in Atmospheric or Oceanic Sciences at McGill?
