Project Description:

This project attempts to better understand the quality of feedback given after simulation activities, during the debriefing process. Emergency medicine residents will be filmed during their simulation activities and during the ensuing debriefing process. The debriefing will be evaluated using the Debriefing Assessment for Simulation in Healthcare (DASH) tool in order to assess the quality of feedback these residents receive. By understanding the quality of feedback given, we hope to get some insight on strategies to improve the feedback process in simulation, and hence improve the medical learners' performance.
