Cooke Fellowship in Physical Education
Established in 2016 by J. Douglas Cooke BSc(PE) 1952 to support outstanding graduate students in the Faculty of Education entering the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education to pursue an MA in Physical and Health Education Pedagogy, Adapted Physical Activity or Sport and Exercise Psychology. .

Daniel Q. Marisi Award
Established in 2005 by Mrs. Roberta Marisi, family, friends, and colleagues in memory of Dr. Daniel Q. Marisi, noted sports psychologist.
Eligibility | Awarded by the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education to a graduate student (Master’s or Doctorate) in Sport or Exercise Psychology. All applicants must have been full-time students for at least two semesters at McGill. Criteria used to assess the award include: academic merit (current graduate GPA and undergraduate CGPA), conference attendance and presentations, research publications, and community (non-paid/volunteer) service in sport and exercise psychology. |

David L. Montgomery Memorial Award
Established in 2007 by John Cleghorn, B.Com. 1962, and Pattie Cleghorn, Dip. Ed. 1962, as well as family, friends, colleagues, and former students in memory of noted sport and exercise physiologist Dr. David L. Montgomery. The award is also supported by the annual David L. Montgomery 10 Km Run, which takes place each year during Homecoming.

R.E. Wilkinson Award
Established by friends, colleagues and former students in honour of Prof. Robert E. Wilkinson, former Chairman of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education.
Eligibility | Awarded by the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education to a student who has obtained a B.Ed. (Major in Phys. Ed.) or a B.Sc. (Kinesiology) from McGill and who is entering a fulltime graduate program in the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education. Applicants will also be assessed based on academic merit and exceptional professional leadership. |
