Linda Snell

LINDA SNELL, MD, MHPE, FRCPC, MACP, FRCP (London), FCAHS is a Professor of Medicine and Health Sciences Education at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ and Senior Clinician Educator at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She has a master's degree in Medical Education and has been active in teaching, administration and education scholarship at all levels of medical education. She organizes and participates in teaching improvement and other faculty development programs and education presentations across Canada and internationally. She is currently responsible for McGill's Master’s Program in health professions education, several international residency education conferences, and the faculty development activities for the Royal College's Competence by Design initiative.

Current research and development interests: Teaching, learning and assessing core competencies, particularly professionalism and leadership; competency-based medical education; professionalism and professional identity formation in residency; improving teaching skills of students, residents and faculty; learning environment; developing clinician-educators; and education scholarship.
