It is an annual award of听$10,000 for a non-renewable internship of three or more months to take place outside of Canada.

Eligibility
The candidate must be:
- Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
- 惭补蝉迟别谤'蝉听level only and听enrolled in a full-time master's program studying听at McGill
- The research should focus on international economics
- The research projects of the student must be outside of Canada
Evaluation Criteria
| Research potential of the applicant demonstrated by the research experience, interest in discovery and innovation, the research鈥檚 quality and its contribution to听knowledge advancement in the field of economics/business. | 35% |
| Academic excellence seen in transcripts as well as scholarships, honors, and听awards received. | 20% |
| Academic and professional experience shown by publications and activities听related to international relations in areas such as academics, volunteer work and听civic, political, social, cultural and professional action. | 20% |
| Communication skills expressed by scholar curriculum and work experience,听commitment to the community and other relevant extra-curricular activities, as well听as letters of recommendation and quality of the application. | 10% |

How to Apply
Students submit听application form听and required documents to their academic unit at McGill.

Required Documents
To qualify, candidates for the scholarship must submit a complete application package containing the following documents:
- The听application form听duly completed, dated, and signed;
- Academic Curriculum vitae;
- A description of the research project with bibliography, including: the research question or problem, objectives, working hypothesis, methodology, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the field of international relations (maximum 3 pages);
- All听official University level transcripts (current Fall session registration status must be indicated)
- Letters of recommendation:
- One letter from the home institution听research director covering the nature and the significance of the research project;
- One letter from a supervisor in the foreign institution where the candidate intends to do their research. The resources of the host institution offered to the candidate's research activities should be indicated;
