Wellness & Yoga in the Education Garden
Enjoy the peaceful environment of the McGill Education Community Garden for this free mental health and wellness workshop. Facilitated by Marie-Eve Couture (Wellness Advisor) and Jodi Proctor (Yoga Instructor), this workshop will start with a discussion on wellness tips and resources on campus, offered by the Student Wellness Hub. This will be followed by a 45-min Gentle yoga session.

Where: McGill Education Community Garden, 3699 Peel St. (Adjacent to the Education building)
Gentle Yoga for Stress Relief has equal emphasis on:
RELAXATION - releasing stress and tension.
REJUVENATION - active, yet low-impact, energizing postures.
PRACTICING CALM - self-soothing, embodied breathwork, and trauma-sensitive mindfulness.
All levels welcome.
Yoga mats will be provided. Just bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing and be ready to enjoy the moment!
About the Student Wellness Hub: The Student Wellness Hub providesÌýa range of health servicesÌýto support students’ physical and mental health with a focus on awareness, prevention, and early intervention. About the McGill Education Community Garden: Located on the terrace adjacent to the Education building and accessible via Peel Street, our garden is a small but cozy space with outdoor seating, a few planters and a couple of in-ground garden beds. Our vision for the garden is to create an outdoor learning space, where we can experiment together with nature- and garden-based pedagogies while creating opportunities for food production, creativity, community-building, collective action and well-being.
