Political Challenges of/for/in 21st Century Schools: Addressing Polarization in the Classroom is a conference that will bring together researchers, educators, and practitioners to discuss polarization in educational settings. Share insights and strategies for fostering constructive dialogue, inclusivity, and critical thinking, with the ultimate goal of promoting a more collaborative learning environment.

Featured speakers from the Department of Integrated Studies in Education include Professor Vivek Venkatesh and Associate Professor Blane Harvey, exploring the causes and effects of polarization among students, particularly in diverse classrooms.

This event, in partnership with Concordia University’s Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance (CSLP) is taking place from October 4th to the 6th, in the Learning Commons (Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Education Building, Room 120).
