Two very good sports sported white jackets and McGill bow ties to lead a very entertaining video in support of McGill鈥檚 Centraide campaign that went up this week. Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management Peter Todd and Michael Di Grappa, Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance), co-chairs of this year鈥檚 Centraide campaign, teamed up with TonalEcstacy, a McGill a capella singing group, for the clip, produced by Jacquie Rourke.
Women at business school
Nancy Adler is an artist and professor at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill in Canada. Since joining the school in 1990, she has taught through the medium of art. She now teaches a three-day global leadership course called Redefining Success that encourages MBA students to appreciate beauty and not just financial wealth.

Change and Continuity: Mintzberg and Kotter Agree, You Must Manage Both
It seems every Business School professor starts by saying how much the world has changed鈥 鈥 that was Henry Mintzberg鈥檚 opening to a session on change, not unsurprisingly Henry takes a different tack. He points out that continuity is as important as change. We are co-teaching strategy to a group of Chinese executives today, and I had to sheepishly admit I had done just that earlier in the day!

When Alexandria (Alex) McKellar entered Grade 9, she began booking guidance counsellor appointments to discuss what university to attend. Even at that young age, she wanted to become an archeologist.
Her mother, Wanda McKellar, a financing representative with Canadian Tire鈥檚 Roadside Assistance team in Welland, Ont., also knew that when the time came, her daughter could apply for a company scholarship to help with the costs.

Cirque du Soleil CEO to receive honorary degree from McGill
MONTREAL 鈥 So maybe it isn鈥檛 such a bad idea to run off and join the circus after all.
When 香蕉视频 bestows honorary degrees at its fall convocation on Oct. 31, one of the recipients will be Daniel Lamarre, president and CEO of Cirque du Soleil. Mr. Lammarre was nominated by Desautels Faculty of Management. Former senator Michael Meighen will also be honoured at the ceremony at Place des Arts.
