Basic Cardiac Life Support

Students registering in the M.D.,C.M. program are required to provide, by July 31 of the year in which they commence undergraduate medical education, proof of certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) level C (the course must cover both adults and children), and automated external defibrillation (AED) training. Certification must be valid at the start of the undergraduate medical education, and students are responsible for maintaining their certification throughout the program. Certification must be granted, or fully recognized, by one of the following organizations:
