Field studies are designed to immerse students in fascinating living environments. Through local, regional, and international field study semesters and individual courses, they provide practical experience and a chance to integrate and apply knowledge gained in the classrooms into the field. And in many cases, field study semesters or individual field courses can be counted towards many McGill undergraduate degrees.
