STANDD serves as a hub for local and international researchers to share theoretical, methodological, and engaged research approaches that can improve community-based partnerships globally. Our mission is to support fieldwork training and improve our members’ potential to empower communities through collaborative initiatives that respond to issues that affect: local health, social welfare, rights, knowledge systems, and territories. STANDD also provides resources and public speaking opportunities for its members to disseminate research findings to international scholars, local communities, and policy-makers.
