AI is rapidly entering our lives - Who is making the decisions? How is this impacting practice in rehabilitation?

The McGill School of Physical and Occupational Therapy Research Committee and the TeleRehab SPOT group are pleased to present an upcoming seminar and workshop with special guest speaker, Alicia Ridout, MSc DipCOT FBCS MRCOT CSO, Director, Involve Me Digital Health Ltd, United Kingdom.

This session will provide an overview of the current state of guiding principles on AI in practice and lead into a group discussion. We highly encourage in-person attendance for a richer exchange. A hybrid option will be available for those that are unable to make it in person.

Alicia is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience working on service improvement projects and digital health innovation. She was awarded the CAHPO Digital Innovator of the year 2017 for her leadership and person-centred work on award winning mental health information website, . Her current doctoral research looks at the safe use of AI in practice with older adults. She also leads an innovation project, COG-OT (Clinical onboarding guide for OT) seeking to support safe digital practice.

Please join us, either in person or online.
