McGill Global Health Programs is delighted to host the 16th annual McGill Global Health Night on November 21, 2024.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Oni Blackstock, MD, MHS, a renowned primary care and HIV physician recognized as a thought leader in HIV and health equity. Dr. Blackstock is the founder and Executive Director ofÌý, a consulting firm that helps health-related organizations centre anti-racism and equity in the workplace while addressing health inequities in the communities they serve. Dr. Blackstock's keynote address is titled "Uprooting Health Inequities: Advancing Inclusive and Participatory Approaches to Clinical Research and Public Health."
Global Health Night is an annual event held by McGill Global Health Programs (GHP) that unites and honours the remarkable accomplishments of McGill’s dynamic global health community.
Before the keynote lecture, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the work of McGill students and groups involved in global health, including GHP's student award winners at the Student Poster Fair.
