This is a 2-day educational opportunity that brings together leading professionals in the field of driver assessment and rehabilitation!
Conference objectives
- Disseminate the latest trends in research, practice, training and policies as well as feature the latest advancements in adaptive equipment, vehicle modification, and assessment/rehabilitation strategies.
- Build a strong network of specialists in North America through this unique networking and mentorship opportunity.
Target audience and program
This event is expected to attract over 250 professionals from across Canada and the United States representing the full spectrum of the mobility industry stakeholders such as occupational therapists, driving instructors, mobility equipment dealers, manufacturers and suppliers of adaptive driving equipment, researchers and regulators.
Types of conference presentations available:
- Poster sessions
- Oral (Paper) presentations (20 minutes in total: 15 minutes presentation with 5 minutes of questions)
- Extended discussion sessions (60 minutes in total: 35 minutes presentation with 25Â minute group discussions)
- Symposium sessions (3 oral presentations with a mini plenary (90 minutes in total)
- Mini-workshop sessions (3 hours)
