B. COMMITTEE MANDATE
In January 2024, Professor Anja Geitmann became the inaugural holder of the Office of the Vice-President (Global Engagement) and has been, since that time, leading the portfolio as Interim Vice-President.
Pursuant to the Statues, the University is now establishing an Advisory Committee for the selection of the Vice-President (Global Engagement), for the next 5 to 10 years.
As part of its mandate, the Advisory Committee will assist the President in the evaluation of Professor Geitmann’ s performance as Interim Vice-President and will provide him advice on the suitability of her possible appointment to the role.
To that end, the Committee is seeking input from the community on Professor Geitmann’ s achievements as Interim Vice-President (Global Engagement), and on the internal and external opportunities, challenges and priorities facing the Vice-President’s portfolio.

En janvier 2024, la professeure Anja Geitmann est devenue la première personne titulaire du vice-rectorat aux relations internationales et dirige depuis ce temps le portfolio en tant que vice-rectrice par intérim.
Conformément aux Statuts, un Comité consultatif auprès du recteur sera maintenant constitué pour la sélection du/de la vice-recteur(-trice) (Relations internationales).
Dans le cadre de son mandat, le Comité consultatif assistera le recteur dans l'évaluation de la performance de la professeure Geitmann en tant que vice-rectrice par intérim et le conseillera sur l'opportunité de sa nomination éventuelle à ce poste.
À cette fin, le Comité sollicite l'avis de la communauté sur les réalisations de la Professeure Geitmann en tant que vice-rectrice par intérim (Relations internationales) et sur les opportunités, défis et priorités internes et externes auxquels est confronté le vice-rectorat.
