The mission of the RUISSS McGill Community of Practice (CVP) in Clinical Pertinence is to provide its members with a virtual place for consultation, personal development and sharing of information in an effort to promote best practices across its network. The Community is part of a continuous quality improvement process and promotes the development of a sense of belonging and support between health care professionals.
Members: The members of the CVP include the Directors of professional services as well as members of the multidisciplinary teams within the RUISSS McGill health network.
Governance: The CVP is managed by a Steering Committee. The mandate is renewed on a yearly basis and membership is voluntary. A survey is conducted once a year among members of the CVP and the results are analyzed by the Steering Committee in order to evaluate the CVP and prioritize activities for the next year.
Accreditation: The CVP activities are approved for accreditation by the Office of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Accreditation is renewed annually.
Choosing Wisely Quebec: A collaboration between the RUISSS McGill Community of Practice on Clinical Pertinence and Choosing Wisely QuebecÌýwas established in 2020. This collaboration allows for the addition of CVP presentations (PPT and/or video recordings) on the , when they are in accordance with the principles of Choosing Wisely, at the following address :
