My research focuses on large-scale ecological predictions, using mathematical and statistical models applied to the data available, which simultaneously is rich in some ways (e.g., big environmental databases) and limited and uncertain in others. In particular, I am interested in predicting biological invasions - a primary driver of global change, and in socioecological dynamics – a key consideration for sustainability and environmental management.
