P. Lantz'sÌýArtists in Residence (AIR) work with Education studentsÌýand staff to buildÌýfurther understanding of the multifaceted practices of the arts;Ìýthe ways in which visual and performing arts can be integral to building knowledge across disciplines. AIRsÌýsupport professors across various disciplinary areas in Education, working togetherÌýto integrate arts themes, strategies and assignments into their classes. Artists mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the arts, advising on curriculum strategies and artistic practices. Ongoing exhibitions, digital displays, performances, and other art activities in the Faculty have been more prevalent in the Faculty with AIRs organizingÌýevents, workshops, seminars, andÌýother various types of arts-related scholarly activities related to arts pedagogy and social change.
