SciLearn Peer Collaboration
Formerly called “FRezCa”, SciLearn Peer Collaboration is a space for collaborative learning supported by teaching assistants (TAs), TEAM students, and course instructors.
At the “Peer Collab”, U0 & U1 students can:
• Work collaboratively and learn from each other.
• Study in a shared space.
• Complete homework or assignments collaboratively (some courses have exclusive practice problems).
• Ask for guidance from TEAM students and TAs.
• Make friends in their programs.

We're located in the Burnside Hall basement, room 1B23.
The space can be accessed via thenorth or south entrances to Burnside Hall. Once in the building, please proceed to the stairs or elevator and descend one floor to the basement. When exiting the elevators, the classroom is straight ahead and to the right. When exiting the stairwells, please follow building signage to reach classroom 1B23. Room 1B23 has purple doors and is beside the Science Undergraduate Society (SUS) office.
The north entrance to Burnside Hall has automatic, power-operated doors and there is an elevator to the space. Gender-inclusive, accessible bathrooms are available on the same floor in rooms 1B-WC1 and 1B-WC2. The space is not scent- or allergen-free, and rooms are lit by artificial light.There is public (McGill) wifi available and outlets for charging electronic devices.
