Two more design awards for McGill’s New Vic Project

The New Vic Project, designed by Diamond Schmitt/Lemay Michaud Architectes, has won two more architectural awards, this time in the international GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN competition, run by Montreal’s Intérieurs magazine.

The architects of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’s New Vic Project have won a Canadian Architectural Award of Excellence for their design. The honour for Diamond Schmitt/Lemay Michaud Architectes was announced Friday Dec. 1, 2023 by , the profession’s national magazine of record.

Ï㽶ÊÓƵ is on land which has long served and continues to serve as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence and contribution mark this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
