The Financial Wellness Series: Effective Tax Strategies

This session is a part of the Financial Wellness Series which provides financial literacy, tools and resources around finances to support your overall well-being. This educational session is sponsored by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
In this session you will:
- Develop effective strategies to minimize the amount of tax paid
- Understand basic tax law
- Learn how to be proactive in tax planning and detailed record keeping
- Understand the three main categories for tax planning, reducing income subject to tax, maximizing deductions, using all allowable tax credits
- Receive handouts and resources around financial wellness.
About the Speaker: Susanna Oreskovic (CPA Canada) is a Chartered Professional Accountant and tax specialist with over twenty years of experience. She is dedicated to helping people feel more confident in their tax and fiscal matters.
