MURA is an association for all retirees from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. Membership is free if your employee affiliation at the time of retirement was with a McGill staff association or union that underwrites the cost of membership in MURA for their members (see list on membership form). If you are a McGill retiree, and did not belong to one of these groups, the annual membership fee for 2023-24 is $25.
Activities
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, several MURA activities are continuing online (Bridge, Bookclubs, Knitting), and some have been suspended indefinitely. We are hoping to offer outdoor activities such as cycling and golfing when possible from spring to fall.

Events
MURA offers a variety of events on a regular basis:
- Social - restaurant groups, museum visits, walking tours, virtual happy hours, etc.
- Cultural - lectures, concerts, theatre
- Information Sessions - on benefits, health, taxation and pension management
