About the talk: Throughout the ages, the universal life force has materialized into human form as avatars or enlightened beings to re-establish the pathway to the eternal and absolute truth. The founder of the Sikh faith, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, appeared on Earth in the 15th century and traveled across the world spreading the teachings and techniques to access absolute reality. He encouraged people to identify themselves beyond their differences, their bodies, their minds and recognize that the ultimate reality is actually their real identity as well. He demonstrated that a life lived upon the tenants of working honestly, sharing your earnings amongst the community, and meditating lovingly on the eternally blissful life force can bring you to an expression of yourself that is completely one with the universe. In this talk, we will analyze the writings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji as written in the scriptural authority of the Sikhs.
