Sukkah Decorating with MORSL & Hillel
As part of the Sukkot celebrations, join us for decorating a sukkah, the traditional temporary shelters built to evoke the time the Israelites traveled after the exodus from Egypt.ÌýCome at lunchtime (kosher food provided) and decorate the sukkah with Jewish and non-Jewish students while learning more about the sukkah.
During this inter-faith experiential learning event, students will have an opportunity to contribute to the decoration of the sukkah using paper crafts and other media. Through dialogue and Q&A, students will discover the meaning of these structures - both ancient and contemporary - at the sukkah in the backyard of the Hillel House, 3460 Stanley
