Spirituality, Wellness and Solidarity: A Workshop for Students in Residence
Interested in the links between spirituality, religion, and mental health? Want to learn how to be an ally to students of faith, particularly to those experiencing religious discrimination? Join MORSL and Residence Life for a free dinner workshop on “Wellness, Spirituality, and Solidarity!” Students living in residence of all faith backgrounds (or of no faith background at all) are invited to gather to dispel myths about religion, learn how spirituality intersects with well-being, and discuss how to navigate a religiously-diverse community. We’ll explore the negative impacts of religious discrimination while developing skills for effective allyship and solidarity. Pizza will be provided (as well as options for various dietary restrictions)! This is a free workshop but registration is required.
