Commemoration for COVID Losses

Thursday, March 11, 2021 18:00to19:00
3610 McTavish Street, room 36-2, QC, CA

March 11 is a day set aside by Quebec government to remember those who lost their lives to COVID 19, a year after it was declared a global pandemic by World Health Organization. At MORSL, we invite our entire community to come together to honour those lives, as well as to hold space for all the other losses endured in this ongoing pandemic.

This evening event will include secular and ecumenical elements as well as reflections and prayers from various religious and spiritual traditions as we collectively name our losses and process our grief. We are motivated by the belief that those who attend will find some comfort in the company of others like us who are experiencing the sorrow of missed loved ones, missed opportunities, economic and social hardships and much more that remains to be named. Together we can support each other and rekindle hope for the future.

Please register in advance using this webform and we will send you an email with the Zoom link and details on how to join the event.
