Research
Our research team (including representatives of McGill’s Office of Continuing Professional Development, the Departments of Family Medicine, Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, as well as the Fédération des Médecins Spécialistes du Québec and the College of Family Physicians of Canada) is conducting a study aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of the current telemedicine course. Please note that no extra work is required on your part. You will need to consent to have your data included in the study and findings will be presented only as aggregated data (i.e., no identifying information). This educational study has been approved by the McGill Institutional Review Board.

To be eligible to win a prize, participants must complete the following:
Step 1
- Course registration
- Complete the Case-Reflect questionnaire (Part 1)
- Obtain feedback on your telemedicine practice from your peers or other sources
Step 2
- Complete the module focused on best practices in telemedicine
- Complete pre- and post-test measures on level of confidence in telemedicine practice
- Interact and add comments on your telemedicine practice via a discussion board orÌýAsk the Expert
Step 3
- Complete the Case-Reflect questionnaire (Part 2)ÌýÌý2-3 months after completing the online module (step 2)
- Obtain feedback on your telemedicine practice
- Post a minimum of two reflections on your telemedicine practiceÌý
- Examine feedback received from your peers or other sources
- Complete the course evaluation form
