The Faculty Development Office, in collaboration with colleagues throughout the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, designs and implements faculty-wide and departmental workshops and seminars. ATELIERS (Campus Outaouais)

The Faculty Development Office at the Outaouais Campus, in collaboration with colleagues from the Faculty Development Office, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ,Ìýdesigns and implements workshops in line with the needs of clinical teachers affiliated with the Outaouais Campus of McGill.Ìý Upcoming workshops can be found here.

HEALTH SCIENCES EDUCATION ROUNDS

Together with the Institute of Health Sciences Education, the Faculty Development Office offers Health Sciences Education Rounds to faculty members interested in innovations and research in health sciences education. Our upcoming Rounds can be found here.

YOUR TEACHING JOURNEY

This blended-learning series covers various topics aimed at supporting new, and even more experienced, faculty members within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in their roles as teachers and educators.Ìý More information is available here.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATE

The goal of this program is to encourage new and current faculty members to engage in Faculty Development as part of their overall professional development in support of their various academic roles. More information is available here.

PROGRAMS FOR NEW FACULTY

The programs and activities offered by the Faculty Development Office aim to assist faculty members in their roles as teachers, researchers and administrators. Whether you are a research scientist and/or a clinician, teaching will most certainly be an important component of your academic career. To that end, we have developed a program for new teachers within their first three years of teaching in McGill’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Leadership Development Program is designed for faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. It is geared towards those for whom leadership forms part of their current or future career trajectory. Participants will have an opportunity to work on their own leadership challenges and should be in a position to implement their new skills in the workplace upon completion of the Program.

FACULTY HONOUR LIST FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE

The goal of the Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence is to recognize outstanding contributions to education in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, in the areas of teaching, educational leadership and innovation, faculty development, and research and scholarly activity.
