The sudden turn of events of the Prime Minister's departure left Canadians and the world shocked. Despite, numerous polls indicating the downfall of the Liberal government, resignation of Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland, and other events within the party led up to the this decision. Vincent says, "It was a slow burn for a quite a number of months and then it was off to the races." He further discussed why the resignation happened and what entails next for Canada.
