Temporary closure of Frank Dawson Adams campus-facing entrance affecting access to Schulich Library

Due to impact from the fa莽ade restoration underway on the Frank Dawson Adams Building (FDA), the campus facing entrance to the building will be closed on October 15 and October 16, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM both days, affecting access to the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering.

Please note that all libraries except for the Humanities and Social Sciences Library (McLennan-Redpath Complex) will be closed on Monday, September 2nd, Labour Day.
The Humanities and Social Sciences Library will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for study only. No services will be offered.

The McGill Libraries are updating our homepage design to coincide with a rebranding project. We are excited to showcase our new homepage that has been designed with a user-centered approach in mind. The new homepage will be launching on Wednesday, August 7!
Access to McGill Libraries on Lower Campus as of Monday, August 5
As outlined in the most recent update by the 香蕉视频 Emergency Operations Centre, as of Monday, August 5, Libraries in the lower campus area (and all libraries within the system) will open as per their regular operating hours and will be accessible without the need of a McGill ID card.
August 6 | Planned electrical shutdown for the McLennan-Redpath Complex and Islamic Studies Library

Facilities Management and Ancillary Services is planning an electrical shutdown on the morning of Tuesday, August 6, which will affect the McLennan-Redpath Complex and Islamic Studies Libraries BEFORE the locations open for the day.
July 27 鈥� August 4 | Access to McGill Libraries on Lower Campus
As outlined in the most recent update by the 香蕉视频 Emergency Operations Centre, from Saturday, July 27 to Sunday, August 4, Libraries in the lower campus area will open as per their regular operating hours, but will close no later than 5:30 p.m. on the weekend and 7:00 p.m. on weekdays.
July 22 - 26 | Students & faculty can access McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, Schulich, and Islamic Studies Libraries with McGill ID card

Foundation Repair around Redpath Hall & McTavish wing of the Redpath Library Building begins July 2nd

From the week of July 2nd through fall 2024, foundation repair will take place on Redpath Hall & the McTavish wing of Redpath Library Building
The project consists of the first two lots (Lot 1, Foundation Repair, and Lot 2, Roof Repair) of the Redpath Library, McTavish Wing, building envelope rehabilitation project.
