Learn how to use APA citation style to cite your sources. Please feel free to bring along questions you have about a paper you are working on now.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Distinguish between different types of sources (monographs, edited volumes, chapters in edited books, journal articles, etc.) to ensure you cite them correctly
- Create a reference list聽and in-text citations using APA鈥檚 author-date format
- Decide when to summarize or use a direct quote to make your writing more effective
- Cite unconventional sources like podcasts, social media posts, videos, lecture notes, and more
