Equity Identification
The McGill Innovation Fund is committed to creating an equitable, diverse and inclusive research environment. Completion of this self-identification section will help to develop inclusive and accessible funding programs. It will not be sent to reviewers. These questions may be answered by the main applicant for the project. Other team members will be invited to complete a similar form if the project is selected for funding.
2. Project Information
Please select which funding stage you are applying for. ATTENTION: projects deemed to be incorrectly targeted will be rejected. Please select carefully.

AMR Supplemental award submission

By selecting this option you confirm that a significant goal of your project is to prevent, diagnose, or treat resistant bacterial and fungal infections. Projects that have not developed this specific objective sufficiently well will not be considered eligible for the supplemental award. All projects wishing to be considered for the AMR supplemental award will be reviewed by a McGill AMR Centre executive member to ensure compliance with this condition. Any entries deemed to not meet this standard will be rejected.

Only projects with an accepted Report of Invention (ROI) as declared to the Office of Innovation + Partnerships are eligible to participate in the program. For applications to the Deploy Stage, you must have a license agreement in place with Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. Enter the associated ROI number(s) in this space.

Project documentation
The following section is composed files to be uploaded by applicants. All relevant templates are available on the "How to Apply" page.
The applicant must upload a single PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) file, with file naming as follows: "Lastname_Firstname_MIF_FUNDINGSTAGE.ppt/pptx" (e.g. Smith_John_MIF_DEVELOP.ppt). In the event you do not have access to PowerPoint, you may submit a PDF file. Files must be less than 20 MB.
Allowed file types: pdf ppt pptx.
All applicants must submit a one-minute video to explain the project in your own words. Phone quality is acceptable. All participating team members must be presented in the video. Details on what to include in your video can be found here: /innovation/mif/how-apply/how-prepare-your-video
Files must be less than 30 MB.
Allowed file types: avi mov mp3 ogg wav.
You may wish to upload other supporting materials such as a letters of support from an external partner, a PowerPoint presentation, or image files to support your application. Note that if you wish to submit multiple files, you must combine them into one file (PDF).
Files must be less than 20 MB.
Allowed file types: gif jpg jpeg png bmp rtf pdf doc docx ppt pptx xls xlsx.
