Mobilizing nocebo research to improve well-being

"Nocebo effects” are additional symptoms that patients experience due to negative expectations about their medical treatments. This project reviews nocebo behaviours and offers related practical workshops at hospitals and universities. These workshops should improve the quality of patient interactions, reduce preventable nocebo effects, increase patient adherence to their treatments and improve patient well-being.
