Fiona Soper
Biography: 

Fiona Soper is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology and Bieler School of Environment at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. Her research explores the interface between plant physiology and ecosystem nutrient cycling to understand how plants influence, and are influenced by, their environments at scales ranging from individual roots to the globe. She worked at universities in Australia and the US before settling in Canada, and continues to do field-based research in the tropics.
